The George shopping Centre in Grantham was designed as an informal Victorian arcade and lacked a strong centrepiece. Design CLD was asked to consider ways to enhance the centre and give it a focus. Our solution was to design a modest food court, taking our theme from railway architecture.

The services and servery were squeezed into the space below the escalators making the best use of limited available space. We devised the name "Minute Bar' and carried this through into associated graphics and signage.
