A well designed workspace reinforces a company’s image and inspires both staff and customers. This is true in any business but even more so when the company works in the image-conscious field of graphics and advertising. That’s why our client, design agency Freestone, called in Design CLD to plan new reception, office and studio interiors for their base in Milton Keynes. Freestone are a high tech company with a prestigious client list including Mercedes Benz, Abbey, Polaroid and Dell. Freestone were impressed by our ability to combine design style with security – a key issue due to the remote location of their offices. In an industry where staff often work long hours, it was also critical that the design team they chose was capable and knowledgeable enough to create a well designed, comfortable and inspiring studio space that would help retain and motivate their people. Our imaginative interior design service began with original reception desk design and space planning and culminated in creating contemporary office and studio spaces, which echoed the Freestone ethos and made working both comfortable and enjoyable. In answer to the client’s security concerns, we also custom-designed a pair of high security stainless steel front doors, turning what was an essential and practical security consideration into a striking design feature. |
