brief: pharmacy and nail bar design for health and beauty retailer

When Scottish pharmacy chain Munro were given the opportunity to acquire a lease in a high profile airport location they turned to Design CLD for a viable design proposal that would take best advantage of the site.

The lease offered the opportunity for 24 hour trading but viability depended on providing a profitable additional offer.

In consultation with the client we put forward the concept of a nail bar - ideal for holiday makers and tourists with time on their hands and, at that time, a relatively new idea in the UK.

Design CLD put together a design where the nail bar was integrated into a beauty centre and pharmacy providing over the counter and prescription medicines.
