Reception design scheme for Advanced Composites Group

Advanced Composites Group (ACG) appointed Design CLD as interior and exterior design consultants for their recently opened £7million manufacturing facility near Derby.

ACG specialise in providing carbon fibre composite materials to high spec industries such as motor racing and aeronautics. They initially commissioned us to create new reception areas that communicated their business values.

Following successful presentation of our initial design scheme the project was subsequently expanded to include the audio visual presentation suite, boardroom design and site wide signage programme.

A key feature of the scheme was the design of a unique glass and steel staircase incorporating cantilevered treads.

This was a complex new build lasting over 12 months. We worked closely with the project management consultants, architects, structural engineers and builders to ensure successful implementation of the design scheme.
