Store design scheme for Suits Plus
Midlands retailer Suits Plus has over 10 outlets and has worked with Design CLD for many years. In 2003, the company commissioned us to perform a complete facelift of their branded store design - a look which we had created for them a decade before.
Brought in on the project from the very beginning, our store designers attended board meetings and advised the company’s directors on all the design and merchandising issues entailed in the work, from developing a bespoke interior concept to invitations to tender. Lighting design in particular took centre stage, since the dark colours of the retailer’s stock absorb ambient light. We overcame this challenge with a white and blue scheme designed to maximise the efficiency of the display lighting.
Our fashion store experience and skilled project management came to fruition
in November 2003 – when the new stylish Suits Plus format and identity
was unveiled at the client’s pilot Wolverhampton store.
