About us

Peter Leigh and Peter Cunningham formed Design CLD in 1989 with a commitment to providing an intelligent and creative design and project management service for retailers. Since then, Design CLD has completed over eighty projects a year ranging from bespoke point of sale display units to twenty thousand square foot department stores.

The company now offers a comprehensive portfolio of professional design services including retail store design, office interior design, brand development and leisure and food retail design.

    Our next step is to develop our design proposals into meticulous production drawings as a basis for pricing and implementation. And by utilising the latest in computer design technologies, we can explore variations and fine-tune the details to perfection. We will handle planning applications, manage contractors, and make sure that every last detail is attended to until the project is complete.
  • Our team approach ensures that we have the right skills for your project
    We complement our in-house skills in interior design, signage and graphic design with a short-list of trusted specialist suppliers and contractors. The end result is a team who can ensure that your project benefits from expert input at every stage.
  • We keep you informed and in charge
    Whilst a project is underway, we keep you up to date with its development. A project manager is on hand to answer your questions and provide you with regular and detailed progress reports. You keep overall control of the project and we do everything to ensure the final effect meets with your unqualified approval.
